Nike Air Zoom Structure 20! It is not the fastest running shoe for monstrous rhythms but probably one of the best options for those who are seeking a soft cushioning comfort and accompanied by a good stability.
As we all know, the Nike brand is characterized by making models with a structure of exceptional comfort and these 20 are it no less than other models. Suitable for a wide public, from anyone seeking good cushioning and stability to a mid-level to high level who wants a shoe for training longer distances without punishing joints and without losing many sensations
When you see them for the first time, the first impression is to be a Heavy slipper, yet when it is in your hand you realize, the shoe is actually really light. When you place your foot inside it, you realize they fit like a glove.
My first impression during the first kilometers of the shoe is, that it is unreactive when you push it to the limit (maybe I say that, because I’m used to long-time running with racing flats and much less cushioning and less drop). The shoe has a drop of 10mm with a cushioning and excellent comfort, best for those runners who are used to more heavy running, with a less technical career and want to have a wonderful time running. Very suitable for pronator runners as they offer excellent support in the inner face.
How does the show adjust to the foot?
At first glance, we see a very colorful outside with an inner layer of thinner fabric which is very pleasant to walk and an outer layer of a more durable fabric with great breathability. When you put on the show, it fits like a glove and it has a very good grip Dynamic Fit is incorporated through the system at the top of the laces.
Structure of the shoe
Zoom Air: A unit of damping which offers better reactivity in each step.
Dynamic Support: Ensures a good stability and helps to make transitions softer.
Dynamic Fit: integrated into the laces which favors clamping and adjustment system.
The structure consists of a midsole compound "Cushlon ST y Phylon" that offers a high smoothness in the combined chip with "Zoom Air" in the front part it offers a little more reactivity treads all accompanied with a drop of 10mm. On the inside we can see the "Dynamic Support" that provides extra support on the inside of the foot, for this reason it is a very good option for pronator runners.
How it works at different distances?
I tried the Nike Structure 20 at different speeds and distances, perhaps where it is the most comfortable and where you can get the most out of it, is long running with a gentle rhythm as they have a very good cushioning and won’t hurt the legs during long kilometers. Not recommend for runners who tend to supinate as the "Dynamic Support" leads inside the sole which can become annoying. I think they are also very good shoes for those who start in the world of running in shorter distances and whose technique is not the best to take a less cushioning shoe yet.
How it behaves in different types of terrains and conditions?
The sole is composed mostly of cleats that look like a "waffle". I have tried the shoe in the dry field and it works great, I also tried it on a dirt track and I was really impressed by the quite good grip that I had. After about 50km it was flawless, with no signs of wearing. Now it only lacks a test in rain!!!
User profiles that are recommended for the product.
Without doubt, one shoe that offers maximum cushioning and good stability for runners in middleweight - high pronator / neutral for needing a support on the inside. Designed for training and competitions for half -long distances.
*Comfort and breathability
*Good choice for heavy runners
*Low sensitivity to the terrain due to the large sole.
